With an historical track record of success, we are dedicated to our students’ achievement. In pursuit of excellence, we extend Prepworks Score Guarantee to help our students achieve their personal best academic scores.

 

 

Score Guarantee for SAT/ACT Online Programs:

Our average historical track record of improvement is 300 SAT points and 5 ACT points. For this reason, we guarantee improvement of 200 total SAT points or 3 total ACT points for all students who have entry SAT scores of less than 1250 or entry ACT scores of less than 30, who complete all activities and Practice Tests, and log a minimum of 50 hours in their online course.

 

We measure point improvement from students’ official test scores. If the student does not have official test scores, we calculate improvement by comparing the student’s first Prepworks Online Practice Test, which must completed at the start of the program, to official test scores. Students must take their official tests within two weeks of completion of their Prepworks Course and Practice Test.

 

For all students who are eligible for Prepworks Score Guarantee and do not meet or exceed the guaranteed minimum score improvement, Prepworks will either extend the student’s access to the course free of charge or refund their money. It’s that simple!

We guarantee that students who complete our Algebra, Civics, and Geometry online courses will score a minimum passing score or higher on their official EOC exams. Students must take their official exam within no more than two weeks of completing their Prepworks online course. Algebra, Civics, and Geometry students must complete all activities and Practice Tests, and log a minimum of 40 hours per online course.

 

For all students who are eligible for Prepworks Score Guarantee and do not meet or exceed the guaranteed minimum passing score requirement, Prepworks will either extend the student’s access to the course free of charge or refund their money. It’s that simple!

Score Guarantee for SAT/ACT In-Person or Virtual Instruction + Online Programs:

With a ten-year track record of success, Prepworks is committed to student outcomes on official exams. Our average track record of improvement is 300 SAT points and 5 ACT points. For this reason, we guarantee improvement of 200 total SAT points or 3 total ACT points for all students who have entry test scores of less than 1250 SAT or less than 30 ACT. If you fall short of our Score Guarantee we will work with you to prepare for the next official test date to ensure your success. To qualify for Prepworks Score Guarantee, students must complete one of the following:

 

  • Complete 24 hours of private instruction, either in-person or virtually, complete all practice work assigned by the Instructor, and log a minimum of 24 hours in Prepworks online SAT or ACT Course.
  • Complete all Skill Assessments and Skill Reviews online
  • Complete a minimum of 3 Practice Tests either online or in-person

 

OR

 

  • Log a minimum of 50 hours in your online course, with a minimum of 25 hours in math and 25 hours in verbal
  • Complete all Skill Assessments and Skill Reviews
  • Complete All Practice Tests
  • Complete all quizzes and activities online

 

Score Guarantee for EOC Programs:

We guarantee that students who complete our Algebra, Civics, and Geometry Online Courses will earn a minimum passing score or higher on their official EOC exams. Students must take their official exam within 15 days of completing their Prepworks course. If your student does not pass the official EOC Assessment, Prepworks will grant your student a new enrollment in Prepworks Online Algebra, Civics, and Geometry courses free of charge, given the following criteria is met:

 

  • Student completed all activities and Practice Tests
  • Student logged online a minimum of 40 hours per course
  • Student completed the official EOC within 15 days of completing the online course
Practice Tests – Online and Paper-Based: What do I do if I miss my Practice Test?

Please call us to reschedule within a week of your scheduled Practice Test. Practice Tests are essential to student progress; PSAT, SAT, ACT, and EOC students may complete their Practice Tests either in-person or online. Students preparing for SAT Subject Tests, AP Exams, SSAT, ISEE, and HSPT, must complete a paper-based Practice Tests either at our Key Biscayne Learning Center or at-home. If you take a paper-based test, you will receive your Personalized Score Report within 3 business days or sooner. If you take an online test (PSAT, SAT, or ACT), you will receive your score immediately after you press submit. Your Practice Test is only a one-time snapshot of your current performance.

How do I login to Prepworks E-Learning Systems?

Within 3 business day of enrolling, you will receive an email with your login credentials. Go to our home page at myprepworks.com and click on LOGIN button in the upper right corner. Your username will be the student’s email address that you provided and the password is prepworks (all lowercase). Please change your password upon logging in for the first time. Your online program includes practice tests and important activities.

What if I miss a class or need to reschedule?

We work diligently to meet your scheduling requests and pair you with your instructor, so once you receive and approve your schedule, we ask that you do your very best to avoid any changes. If you must reschedule your private (one-to-one) session, you must call or email our office with a minimum of 24-hour advanced notice. You may reschedule your session based on instructor availability. Classes cancelled with less than 24-hour advanced notice of your session time will be billed accordingly to the session time and rate.

When can I expect to receive my Schedule?

You will receive your schedule within 2 business days. If your program does not begin in the next 30 days, you will receive your schedule two weeks prior to your start date. Upon receiving your schedule, please review it carefully. If you have any questions or changes in your availability, please contact our office during business hours.

Office Hours and Teaching Times?

We provide instruction seven days a week. Our office staff is available Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm EST. If you are calling after office hours, please leave a voicemail or send us an email, and we will return your message the next business day or sooner.

What times does Prepworks offer private instruction?

Prepworks offers private in-person and virtual tutoring seven days a week with flexible morning, evening, and afternoon schedules. All programs can be adjusted to fit your student’s academic and extra-curricular schedules. Contact a Program Advisor to build your custom class schedule here!

Our instructors are available seven days a week, and our office staff is available 9 a.m.-6 p.m. EST.

Does Prepworks offer group classes?

We deliver small group (4-to-1) classes at many of our on-campus partner schools in South Florida.

At our Learning Centers, we offer semi-private 2-to-1 instruction , as well as private 1-on-1 instruction both in-person and virtually.

How to Access Online Reports — New Location
I forgot my login password. What do I do?

To send a new password to your email address automatically, click this link.  Please note: Your new password will be sent to the email address set in your online profile. If you use this automatic password reset tool and do not receive a new password within 10 minutes, please check your spam folder.

If you do not receive a new password via email within 10-20 minutes, please enter a support ticket.

Which devices, operating systems, and browsers do you support?

We support HTML5 and modern web standards, so other systems and devices may run. If your device or system is not on the list below, please let us know.

Plugins – We do not require any plug-ins for our coursework. PDF may be used for some supplemental material.

One of my lesson videos will not play. How can I fix it?

First, try refreshing your page. A page refresh will solve many problems with web content not displaying correctly.

 

If refreshing does not work, close your web browser and re-open it. Closing and re-opening the web browser will resolve most video display issues.

 

If a browser restart fails to fix the problem, please restart your computer or device and try again.

 

The sound in my video isn’t playing. How can I fix this?

You should be able to hear sound in all videos on the Prepworks site. If you cannot hear sound in any video, please follow the following steps:

 

First, look at the bottom of the video’s player window. In the lower-right corner of the video player, you should see two buttons, one is a button with a speaker symbol. Click this button. The speaker on the button should have curved lines coming from it in order for your audio to play.
If the sound is turned on in the video’s player window, check to make sure that your speakers are on and that the volume is high enough so that you can hear the audio. You could test this by playing music on your computer/device or by trying to play some other form of audio that is not on the Prepworks site. If you can’t hear another form of audio, then you may need to troubleshoot a problem with your speakers or your device’s ability to play audio.
If your device can play other forms of audio and you can hear it, log out of Prepworks and clear your browser’s cache. Once you clear your cache, return to Prepworks, log back in and try to play the video again.
I’m having trouble on my iPAD. What can I do?

Close Your Apps

Your iPad will always run slower if there are other Apps open in the background. We recommend closing any open Apps, along with clearing Safari History and Cache. This should alleviate the slow load times you experienced on your iPad. Click here for a few quick tips to speed up your iPad.

Adjust Your Settings

Sometimes a setting will get changed on an iPad that blocks services like Prepworks that require a login. Cookies need to be enabled for you to login. To read Apple’s article on checking and resetting security settings, click here.

Check and Clear Storage

Your iPad may be out of storage space, which will prevent logging in. To learn how to check and clear your iPad storage, visit Time’s article here.

Some images didn’t load. How can I fix this?

Please refresh your page (Press Command-R on the Mac, Hold down “Ctrl” and “R” on the PC, or click the refresh arrow on the iPad to refresh your page and reload the images).

Why this works: Sometimes a computer or device will drop it’s connection to the web momentarily, this is especially common when connecting via a wireless network. If this happens when you are loading a page, the page may only partially load, without images for example. A page refresh will fix this.
